Winning always feels good. TechPixies has been championing women since our inception and while that is and always has been our primary focus, winning a few awards along the way helps too!
Naga Munchetty from BBC Breakfast hosted the event and read the judges’ statement before presenting Joy with the award:
“Joy Foster has amazing credibility and leadership skills which have clearly been demonstrated in a few short years. Judges felt this was an excellent entry telling a very inspirational story of entrepreneurship and turning personal experiences and skills into profitable ventures that also serve a wider purpose.”
Joy attended the event with Renee Watson, founder of The Curiosity Box. Renee was a finalist for Innovator of the Year.
