‘You’re hiding your bananas.’ This simple statement was enough to really shift the gears of Hannah Martin’s business (well, that and Hannah changing her mindset. But back to the bananas for a minute). Having started the Talented Ladies Club to inspire and empower mothers and encourage them not to give up on their professional dreams, Hannah soon realised that running a business fuelled by passion alone would only get her so far (sound familiar?).
So she decided to invest in business coaching and was challenged to pull on her brave pants and face her fear of sales. Like the greengrocers of old, she was told she needed to get her ‘bananas’ out to the front of her ‘shop’ and show them off! More importantly, to attract the right customers, she needed to price her ‘bananas’ correctly.
