Until recently, it felt like it was brushed under the carpet.
Sure, another drenching from night sweats and the befuddlement of brain fog might have been mentioned among friends, but it has been conveniently filed under ‘women’s problems’ by pretty much everyone else.
But like a hot flash, menopause is finally creeping up to the top of the agenda (shout-out to Dr Louise Newson and Davina McCall for their awareness-raising campaigns👏🏼).
