A ‘lifequake’. That’s how Helen Kewell describes the moment she collapsed at work after experiencing burnout.
Having been someone who would push through tough situations, someone whose identity was built on doing and achieving, Helen says she felt she was being stripped of her sense of self as her body said no and forced her to just ‘be’.
But after feeling like she was disappearing and being forced to hit the pause button, Helen’s new career in psychotherapy has opened up a new opportunity to explore some of the big topics that crop up when we hit midlife… and to smash the perception that midlife is a hurdle to overcome.
Here’s why you need to tune in 🎧
