We have a scholarship programme in place to help women who come from households in which the income is below the national living wage.
To be considered for a full tuition scholarship, your HOUSEHOLD INCOME (partner + yourself or just yourself if you are a single parent) MUST BE LESS than a single national living wage earner (£17.5k outside of London, £20.5k inside London). Examples of women who have received scholarships in the past include:
- Women who are unemployed at the time of applying AND who are on benefits and/or whose partner in on benefits
- Women who are unemployed AND whose partner is also unemployed or being made redundant
- Single mothers who are the sole provider
To be considered for a partial tuition scholarship, your HOUSEHOLD INCOME (partner + yourself or just yourself if you are a single parent) MUST BE LESS than the national living wage of 1.5 earners (£27k outside of London, £31k in London). Examples of women who have received partial tuition scholarships of 10-50% include:
- Women who have set up their own businesses and are in their first year of trading
- Women who are working part-time
In order to receive a scholarship, you will have to apply using our Scholarship Application Form. As part of the application, you will be asked to electronically sign a self-declaration of household income.
You will receive a confirmation immediately after you have submitted your application. If you do not receive a confirmation, then we have not received it. As part of your application we will need 2 references (one work and one personal). Once we receive your application, we will schedule an interview with you if we feel you are a strong candidate.
All women who receive scholarships will still be required to pay a non-refundable deposit of £150 (including VAT).
